Overview
TECHNO-CRETE® is a lightweight, polyurethane-based alternative to concrete post-mix, developed to make post installation more efficient. Each 1.8 kg pack expands rapidly when mixed, forming a high-density structural foam that holds posts securely in place. Because it requires no water and very little material, it is simple to transport, store and use on site.
The product performs well in cold and wet conditions, making it suitable for winter working where concrete can struggle to cure properly. Once expanded, it forms a durable foundation that is resistant to groundwater, chemicals and frost. TECHNO-CRETE® is also manufactured using recycled PET, helping reduce the environmental impact of post installations.
For rail teams, the reduction in manual handling, vehicle movements and installation time can be significant. TECHNO-CRETE® is used across the UK and Europe for installing fencing, marker boards, small signs and similar post-based components. It offers a practical, low-carbon alternative where speed and simplicity are priorities.
