Scott Parnell to support Anderson Charity Bike Ride

Five members of staff from Scott Parnell, specialists in civils and drainage supplies, will be taking part in a 55-mile charity bike ride to raise funds for the National Autistic Society.

Rachael Adamson, Joe Folan, Jenny Burton, Alan Sweap and Mark Simpkins, who all work at Scott Parnell’s Witham branch, will be tackling the Anderson Charity Bike Ride on Saturday 8th June as part of a team of riders called Charlie’s Angels.

Organised by the construction company Anderson Group, the picturesque but challenging cycle route will take in the pretty villages of Essex, and will start and finish in Chelmsford. All funds raised from the event will go towards supporting the National Autistic Society’s pioneering services.

All five staff are training for the event and are each cycling up to 15 miles per week.

Joe, who is a Sales Negotiator at Scott Parnell Witham, said: “It’s going to be a tough but exciting challenge. I’m looking forward to tackling it with Rachael and the rest of the team and doing my bit to help a really worthy cause.”
